About 100 Years of the Vote

Carrying the Suffrage Spirit into the Next 100 Years
Our organization aims to create awareness about the power behind the female vote. In today’s political climate women direct a majority of the voting outcomes, making them the most powerful voting block in America.

Our Team

Christine Adams

Founder

Christine comes from a long line of political activists. Her great grandfather voted for the Wyandotte Convention allowing Kansas to become a free state. She started volunteering in the political process in the early 1970s working on campaigns at the city, state, and federal levels.

Today she applies her fundraising skills to support candidates who affect positive change for the local community.

One of her other current passions involves teaching citizenship classes to immigrants in the Kansas City Metro Area.

Laura Luckert

Founder

Laura Luckert retired after a decades-long career in corporate communications in the Kansas City Metro Area.

Today she spends her time volunteering with animal advocacy groups, cycling, playing tennis, and freelance writing.

Lisa Spigarelli

Founder

Lisa Spigarelli spent the majority of her career managing clinical trials for the pharmaceutical industry. Prior to that time she was a classroom teacher in Johnson County.

Since retiring, she has supported numerous not-for-profit entities and causes.

She maintains a strong interest in human health studies and supporting integrity in government, while enjoying the company of five children and spoiling nine grandchildren.
